Marc A. Munoz is an Entrepreneur, Speculator, and Managing Partner of Munoz Ghezlan & Co., a private mortgage firm rooted in Wall Street’s century-old tradition of structured finance. With a background spanning mortgage origination, private credit, entrepreneurial M&A, and technology, he brings an institutional mindset to the lower middle market while structuring innovative solutions that traditional lenders overlook. His focus is on bridging Wall Street strategies with real estate investors’ needs — from multi/tranche DSCR loans with as little as 10% down to working capital programs that unlock liquidity for growth.
Over the years, Marc has built a track record of identifying asymmetric opportunities in sub–$1 billion market cap, publicly traded, natural resources companies, applying institutional-style structuring to overlooked markets.
Marc began his career with Byzantium Wealth Management, an early-stage investment firm where he launched a contrarian uranium thesis that has since appreciated 400%+.
He later founded The Mississippi Company, a transportation and logistics platform advised by senior leaders including the former CEO of PepsiCo, an O’Melveny & Myers attorney, and the Vice President of U.S. Xpress, a $400 million publicly traded trucking company. There, he invented Precision Scheduled Trucking (PST), an asset utilization methodology that reshaped operational efficiency in the dump truck industry. His work extended into AI and predictive maintenance, where he began developing anomaly-detection datasets for heavy equipment before ultimately transitioning into finance full-time with Munoz Ghezlan & Co.
